Our Mission

The Story Pirates celebrate the words and ideas of young people. Our original arts and literacy programs create confident, literate students equipped with a variety of tools for written, verbal, and artistic expression and improve the relevance and effectiveness of in-school and after-school learning. We help to build strong communities that celebrate the value of young voices from diverse backgrounds, and our students learn self-expression skills that they carry into adulthood.
