"At the Coffee Shop" (Peter and an old man sit next to each other at the coffee shop, but don’t know each other) Peter (saying to self): Since it is such a nice day today, I wish I could go to an awesome zoo… Old Man (turns to Peter): Oh, I have a great zoo you could go to, and speaking of zoos I have a great tale to tell you about some friends of mine. Peter: Awesome! Will you tell me the story? Old Man: Sure, I would love to! Old Man: One day in June, two kids named Kelly and Carson were trying to decide where to go while their mother and father were away. Kelly and Carson wanted to go to a zoo but they were not sure which one. When the kids finally found a zoo to go to they phoned the manager. The manager picked up the phone and said ‘Can’t Get Away Zoo” here, Yep. You just can’t get away. You get so close to an animal that you can almost touch it! Peter: But how do you know exactly what happened? Old Man: Trust me, I know these kids very well, now on with the story! Old Man: Okay, so when the kids got to Can’t Get Away Zoo, they were very excited. The first thing the kids saw was a little man that said that he was th emanager of Can’t Get Away Zoo. The asked him a few questions, but then the man started to run off towards the Tiger House. Kelly and Carson obviously had bad feelings about this, but that did not stop them from going into House #1: The Tiger House. Peter: Don’t stop now! I want to find out what happens next! Old Man: Okay, back to the story! Old Man: …Inside the tiger house the kids saw grass, shrubs, trees, rocks, and bushes. They walked over to the viewing area so that they could see the tigers. The viewing area was really close to the tiger’s lair but Kelly and Carson still could not see any tigers. As silly as it sounds, they leaned in towards the glass, but they instantly fell inside the tiger’s cage instead! They heard a loud ROAR! They looked behind and there was a huge tiger! The kids ran to the first tree and climbed to the top. But the tiger never got off the children’s tail. Peter: How did Kelly and Carson get away? Old Man: Well, you will soon find out! Old Man: Adding on, Carson’s belt fell off, and the tiger started to play with it. While the tiger was playing with Carson’s belt, my friends started to climb down the tree. The tiger never noticed my friends, while they were running to get to the door on the other side that looked like the exit. And it was lucky for my friends because that really was a close call. Peter: You know what they sound like? Old Man: What? Peter: Super Heros!! Old Man: Oh wait till you find out what happens next. Old Man: Kelly and Carson were now standing in an open field and right next to them there was a door. They walked over to the door and peeped in the hole that was right in the middle. Of course they only saw blue and green things because they saw the sky and the trees. Carson thought that this was funny and wanted to think it over. But Roar! It was the tiger again! They quickly pulled the door open and jumped in, but something was wrong. Carson and Kelly did not land on the ground, they landed in water! Even though it sounds weird, Kelly and Carson started a quick game of Hide-And-Go-Seek. They played this game until Carson noticed something very unusual. Carson saw a shark! Shark! He screamed to Kelly. Kelly and Carson swam around the coral a few times. But the shark was hot on their trail. Luckily Kelly noticed something just at the perfect moment. She saw a door behind the coral! Kelly pulled Carson’s hand towards the door. They swam and swam but the shark was close behind. When they finally got to the door Kelly and Carson looked behind but the shark did not budge. The coral was holding it behind. They pulled open the door and a gush of water pushed them through the door. Carson and Kelly know that that was so close, but they did not know that that was so close, but they did not know what was about to come next. Peter: Wow, I can’t believe they did it again! Old Man: I know, they really got lucky! Too lucky... Old Man: Kelly and Carson looked around and saw what seemed to be flowers. They both loved the flowers, but then out of the blue appeared a fairy named Tinkling. Tinkling gave the children one wish to share, but then vanished into thin air. Carson and Kelly did not know why they needed a wish but they would soon find out. Peter: Tell the rest, the story is getting so good! Old Man: Okay here it goes! Old Man: Kelly and Carson saw a door that looked the same as the first one. The did not want to go through, but they had no other choice. When the kids walked through, they felt a cool breeze. They complained so much that they were freezing until they noticed the snow. Soon my friends started a snowball fight, but then a seal came wobbling up to them. Ark, Ark! Called the seal as he picked up Carson and Kelly with his nose. The kids finally realized that they were going to become the seal’s ball. The seal played with the children for a bit, using them as his ball. While one went up, the other came down and that was how the seal played. Kelly and Carson then decided that it was time to use their one wish. They made their wish and soon enough they each sproughted winds. Together they flew over the fence and towards the next exit door. They finally landed on the ground, pushed open the door, and walked out of what felt like Antarctiva. Kelly and Carson were very lucky because this was the real exit! They walked out and looked up. Above them was a sign that said: Please come to Can’t Get Away Zoo again! You get so close, you almost can’t get away! They decided that they were never going to go there again, and they never did! Peter: That zoo sounded really scary! But I still have one questions. How did you know exctly what happened to Kelly and Carson? Old Man: Well, to tell you the truth I have a secret camera in each animal cage so that I can see what is happening. Are you ready for your tour of my office, since you know that I really am the manager on Can’t Get Away Zoo. Peter: Oh my gosh! I never would have guessed!! And by the way, no I don’t want to come. Old Man: Too late! (old man/manager snatches Peter and goes of stage) |
