"The Pirate Story and the Rain Story"

There was a Pirate ( named Gunji )who lived on a boat in London. When he needed groceries he would swim out to the store and carry them onto his boat.

It is very rainy in London because the clouds like to to take a bath and all the water splashes down from the bath onto the earth. The soap stays in the clouds. The pirate had a big (superman) umbrella. It was so big that it covered his boat and kept him dry.

He would sometimes get grouchy because he wanted to have some friends to play with on his boat, but he hardly ever saw any boats come near him and he didn't like to leave his boat.

Far away in Florida lived Lady Dumps. She liked to fix TVs. When she was a girl she was made out of wood but when she became a grown-up her skin popped on. She sailed a house boat in Florida. One day she took a vacation to London. It was very rainy and she did not have an umbrella. She was sad.

The pirate saw her in her house boat looking wet and sad and asked her it she would like to share his umbrella. She sailed her house boat close to him and they shared the umbrella. The pirate invited her to come on his boat and play. They had a great time and played for many days. It took a long time to stop raining Lady Dumps wanted to go back to Florida because it was going to be her birthday. She wanted to have a party.

The pirate made a birthday party for Lady Dumps and all of her friends from Florida came. A magic man with big curly hair came to do tricks. For lunch they had chocolate pizza, chocolate chicken and chocolate chips. After lunch there were flower cakes for everyone chocolate or vanilla . All the friends sang Lady Dumps the birthday song. She was happy and she and the pirate were friends for a very long time.
